About the tour
Experience the breathtaking Himalayan landscape of East Sikkim with a day tour to the sacred Tsomgo Lake and the historic Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border.
Itinerary
Day 1
Pickup from Gangtok hotel after early breakfast. Drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,313 ft.), a sacred glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Explore the lake area; optional yak ride and cable car ride available on direct payment basis.
Day 1
Proceed to Nathula Pass (14,140 ft.), a historic mountain pass on the Indo-China border. Spend time enjoying panoramic views and the significance of the ancient Silk Route (subject to permit and weather conditions).
Day 1
Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir on the return drive. Enjoy scenic views en route back to Gangtok. Drop at hotel by evening. Evening free for leisure.
Notes:
- - Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays.
- - Tour is subject to weather and road conditions.
- - Entry permit for Nathula is mandatory and must be arranged in advance with valid ID proof.
- - Warm clothing, gloves, and sturdy footwear are highly recommended.
- - Not suitable for guests with heart or respiratory issues due to high altitude.
